There truly isn’t anything like Florida beaches. Miles and miles of white sandy beaches and clear blue water. The panhandle is home to many beach cities with some of the best beaches to visit. Aside from the beaches, these cities are a spot for many tourists with tons of other activities to do like banana boat rides, parasailing, and learning to surf. Check out the Best Beach Cities on the Florida Panhandle.
The Florida panhandle is the skinny stretch of land all the way on the Northwest of the state. Summer vacations for me were always taking a trip to the beaches in Florida. I’ve traveled around a lot and I can say there truly is nothing like Florida beaches. I’ve had so many memories at these beaches and would 100% recommend visiting one of these beaches on your next summer trip.

Panama
Panama City Beach is historically known as the Spring Break spot for college kids, so if you are looking for something a little more family friendly, I would advise to visit one of the latter cities mentioned in this post. BUT, if you are looking for a party, Panama is your place to go. The beaches are beautiful and there is so much to do!
Destin
Next is Destin, Florida. There is a lot to do in Destin besides relax on the white sandy beaches. One of the most notorious things about Destin is Crab Island. Crab Island is a popular spot where boats and party barges pull up and park on the sand bar and party all day long. Below are a couple of links to various Crab Island adventures plus more!
Destin also has its infamous Destin Harbor Boardwalk with bars, shops, and tourist attractions. Henderson Beach State Park is another popular spot where visitors can camp and access the beach. And lastly, Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park. This water park has over forty water attractions, several thrill rides, and a mini golf course.
Pensacola
Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key both are home to the longest stretch of federally protected seashore in the United States. Besides its beautiful beaches, the city itself holds a lot of history as well if you like to mix your beach vacays with a city escape.
Below are a couple of activities to do while visiting the Pensacola beaches.
Fort Walton
Lastly is Fort Walton, Florida. Fort Walton is like all, known for it’s white sandy beaches. Fort Walton is right next to Okaloosa Island. The island is home to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. There you can find dolphins, penguins and alligators.
You also have the opportunity to learn at the amazing museums in the city. Home to the Indian Temple Mound Museum with prehistoric Temple Mound and Native American artifacts. Another museum is the Air Force Armament Museum with artifacts and aircraft from WWI to now!
